This voluntary, no-fee service is especially targeted for families with serious or violent conflict, runaways, and/or other serious risks of harm to the child or others. FRS requires family members to participate in in-home counseling, and is available to families who do not have other resources to obtain counseling. Family Preservation Services (FPS)

Auburn Youth Resources (AYR) is a contracted provider of FPS. FPS is available to families within 48 hours of referral and is offered for a maximum of six months. AYR provides FPS by facilitating in-home family therapy, establishing support by building relationships with a variety of community resources and helping families use their strengths to resolve issues and stabilize crises. FPS is a voluntary, no-fee service to families that qualify and are referred through the Department of Child and Family Services. To inquire about FPS contact DSHS at 1-800-562-5624.
